Our Story
About Premier Music Academy
Premier Music Academy was founded on a simple belief: every student, regardless of age or starting point, deserves a music education of the highest standard, delivered with warmth and care. As the first and Steinway Institute in the UAE, we’ve built a reputation for combining world – class teaching with internationally recognised programmes and a genuinely personalised approach – helping students develop not just their musical ability, but the confidence, creativity, discipline and lifelong passion that come with it.
Today, PMA welcomes musicians of every kind: complete beginners taking their first steps at the piano, dedicated students preparing for ABRSM and Trinity examinations, and pre-professional performers building a portfolio for a career in music. Across our classical, pop, jazz, Arabic music and production/sound engineering pathways, our expert international faculty bring real performance experience into every lesson.
Leadership Message
Music changed the course of Jane Mraihi’s life - and she has spent her career making sure it can do the same for others.
Jane trained at one of the world’s most prestigious music schools before winning an ABRSM scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music, one of the world’s most renowned conservatoires. A trained, practising musician and qualified teacher, she has spent almost three decades creating and leading outstanding music education; holding senior leadership roles across the UK and UAE, and shaping boroughwide music strategy in London before bringing that expertise to the UAE.
Jane founded Premier Music Academy on a simple belief: that every child, and every adult, deserves the chance to discover what music can unlock in them. Taught by outstanding and highly qualified musicians from some of the world’s top conservatoires, and delivered with rigour, care and genuine joy, PMA are building more than an academy; they’re building a musical community, one where every student’s talent is discovered, nurtured, and given the space to flourish.
